1. Our Service
NaamTara provides Indian baby-name suggestions based on the preferences you share with us, over WhatsApp and this website. Suggestions are provided for your consideration only and are not a guarantee that any particular name is legally, religiously or astrologically “correct” for your child.
2. Eligibility
Our service is intended for parents, family members and other adults (18 years or older) planning a baby's name. By using NaamTara, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Using WhatsApp
Our service is delivered through WhatsApp, a platform operated by a third party. Your use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for outages, delays or changes to WhatsApp's platform that affect our service.
4. Payments and Packages
Some parts of our service are free; others are paid packages, with pricing shared before you pay. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
5. Name Suggestions Are Not Advice
Name meanings and origins are shared for informational and cultural context and are compiled with care, but we do not guarantee they are free of error or that they reflect every regional or family variation. NaamTara does not provide legal, religious or astrological advice, and any final naming decision, including legal registration of the name, is your responsibility.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or misuse our WhatsApp service or website
- Impersonate another person when messaging us
7. Intellectual Property
The NaamTara name, logo, and the content of this website belong to us and may not be copied or reused without permission. Name suggestions themselves are, of course, yours to use freely.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NaamTara is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including decisions made based on our suggestions. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the relevant service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, India.
